Alameda County Theatre Conservatory

Over the course of our 10-week program, students will engage with peers and educators to collaborate on the performance of the musical theatre production of Children of Eden. Students will be challenged with personal goals and growth objectives, ensuring their nurtured, structured progress and advancement as a performer and overall community member. Participants will have typical performance/show expectations which include consistency in attendance and rehearsal presence, challenging onstage self expectations/capabilities, respecting all staff and students and the theatre space, and memorization of lines, songs, dances, etc. Additional objectives of the course include (but are not limited to): learning choreography and musical theatre songs required for performance, and music theory including time signature, tempo, support and proper vocal technique, note names and values. The final performance will be held on a professional stage (local East Bay location and venue TBD) complete with lights and music.
